China Guide
Terms of use
These terms apply to the free China Guide research workspace. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
Updated 23 October 2026. China Guide: Travel & Shopping is owned and operated by Philipp Seifert. Contact the service through the address below.
Research scope
China Guide helps analyze the permitted evidence available to your account. It is independent of Xiaohongshu. The corpus does not represent every discussion or all Chinese consumers. Engagement counts are source observations, not market share or verified consumer identity.
Read the evidence
Reports can be incomplete or mistaken. Check citations, source availability, disagreements and coverage limits before using a finding. Research is not medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.
Your material
You must have a documented basis for the acquisition, storage, processing, display and export uses you select. Source attribution alone does not establish those rights. Do not import credentials, unlawful material or material outside the agreed source scope. Source restrictions and removal can prevent future display or exports.
Your account
Protect your sign-in details and review application access before granting it. Roles, source visibility and allowances are assigned and enforced by the service. Do not attempt to access another account’s private data or evade the service’s controls.
Free access and availability
The service has a free account allowance; the optional Trip Pass below is the only purchase. Research, projects, monitors and exports remain subject to account limits and source permissions. External sources and email services can be unavailable.
Access, source availability and results can change, and service interruptions can occur. Do not rely on a research result as the sole basis for a consequential decision. A working ChatGPT connection does not mean the plugin has been approved for the public directory.
Fenuli Trip Pass
The Trip Pass provides higher software allowances for 60 consecutive days after confirmed payment, for a single tax-inclusive payment of USD 19. It has no subscription or automatic renewal. Passes do not stack: another pass can start after the current one ends. An unpaid checkout expires after about a day; you can then start a new one. Any test checkout is clearly marked and does not charge real money. See Plans for the allowance and availability shown in this environment.
The pass covers self-service discovery, planning and saved-workspace access. It does not include bookings, physical goods, visa services, bespoke research, unlimited AI, or a promise to collect new sources by a particular date. Source permissions and availability still apply. After expiry, saved work remains readable, exportable and deletable; one workspace can remain editable within the free allowance.
When live Dodo checkout becomes available, Dodo Payments will act as merchant of record for the purchase and handle payment, applicable taxes and receipts. Fenuli provides the software. The Dodo buyer terms shown at checkout also apply. Confirmed payment activates the pass in your account; returning from checkout alone does not activate access.
Cancellation and refunds
There is no recurring payment to cancel. For the Trip Pass, Fenuli does not offer discretionary refunds for a change of mind or unused time after access is delivered. This does not limit refunds, withdrawal rights or other remedies required by applicable law, or Dodo Payments’ authority under its buyer terms and payment rules. Test payments involve no real charge or money to return.
Contact Support if you are charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or cannot obtain the access you paid for. Include your order or payment reference and a short description. We will investigate and arrange the correction or refund required for the issue. Dodo processes approved refunds for Dodo purchases. A completed full refund ends paid access; saved work remains subject to the free-tier rules. Deleting your account or choosing not to use the pass does not itself issue a refund.
Connected applications
Connecting an application authorizes the access scopes you approve. Review requested actions, including saving research, creating a monitor or requesting an export. You can revoke future access in Connections; content already received by an application remains subject to that application’s arrangements.
Privacy and closure
Read the privacy notice for data handling and retention. Account download and deletion controls are available in Account.
